The Priestess is in harmony with the sacredness of a place. She has a kind of inner compass to connect to the sacred wherever she is.The Priestess has been on the path of spirituality for several years, she has crossed moments doubts, profound solitude, misunderstanding, discouragement, but also ineffable and intense joy, light, serenity and satisfaction. She is connected to her feminine powers (or masculine for priests), she knows how to use it. This power is not mobilized for ascendancy over others but rather to drink at one’s inner source, to enter in contact with the deities and spirits, to help her fellows and love as a priestess knows how to do!
The Priestess leads her way and does not undergo her destiny. She accepts it with humility and agrees with her path to live fully what she was born to do, listening to its past and its requirements. She listens to her heart and her inner voice, she follows her intuition, whose reliability increases with time.
She is aware of the order of things, tries her best to keep balance around her, in her life and in her spiritual practice. She is responsible, honest with others and with herself.
At the spiritual level, she is in perpetual training, always awake and ready to learn and discover. She learns from ancestors such as the gods and spirits but also from waterfalls, flowers and trees.
She has a regular practice which consists of offerings, prayers and meditations, she knows how to respond to the call of the gods when her daily routine takes hold!
A priestess (or priest) is a person who has the necessary knowledge to lead sacred rituals and rites. She knows how to contact the spirits and the gods. It is towards her people may turn in order to be advised regarding spirituality.
She is accessible to people and her life is an example to follow, even though it is not perfect. She is constantly working on increasing its consistency with her spiritual values. The Priestess is never satisfied with her behavior and is always looking for more harmony.
Finally, she has skills for healing, accompany the dead, support families, do rites of passage for the key moments of life (birth, death, marriage, baptism, first rules etc.).
For a mariage, please download the necessary form here. The request for the designated officiant is also mandatory and can be found here.
Never must she benefit from her ascendancy on someone and she must promote the autonomy of the people who ask her help.
In sum, choosing this path is not easy and cannot really be considered a choice. It is the gods who choose you, as the shaman is chosen by the spirits.
